A method is described for measuring calcium crystalluria in fresh samples of urine at 37°
using a Coulter Counter. The method is reproducible and an accurate measurement of
added calcium phosphate and calcium oxalate crystals can be obtained. The importance of
the technique as a method to study renal stone disease is discussed.
