Analysis of headaches associated with gammaglobulin infusion

RATIONALE: To evaluate patients who are treated with IVIG and develop headaches. The
study further attempts to determine whether these headaches fit the International Headache
Society (IHS) criteria for migraine. METHODS: 35 IVIG patients in an office-based practice
were given a questionnaire about headaches associated with treatment and the data was
analyzed. RESULTS: Headaches associated with IVIG therapy were reported in 29 (83%) of
