BACKGROUND: Autosomal dominant hyper-IgE syndrome (AD-HIES) is caused by
mutations in signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3). We describe 2
subjects in whom somatic mosaicism was associated with intermediate phenotypes.
