Expression of the pleiotropic cytokine interleukin (IL)-6 can be stimulated by the
proinflammatory cytokine tumor necrosis factor (TNF) and the microbial alkaloid
staurosporine (STS). In this report, the transcriptional mechanisms were thoroughly
